1. The older I’ve gotten, the less I liked bond until the daniel Craig movies. I’m personally hoping it’s Riz Ahmed but I doubt it.
2. Really loved F1 but not as much as you both. I had a tremendous amount of fun. The editing was superb and so was the cinematography. Sound design elite. Loved how efficient the screenplay was even if it was by the numbers to me. All the beats were familiar to me but that’s fine!
3. Im not gonna front like I’m a big fan of Pitt the person (btw Gregg…really appreciated the use of Pitt stop at one point) but there’s no doubt that Pitt the actor is a very unique talent. He’s a great character actor but his most elite skill is creating chemistry with other actors on the screen. This man makes relationships with other characters feel so believeable. Him and Clooney were always extremely good at this which is why whenever both of them are on the screen at the same time, it feels like magic. Also, I don’t think you’re supposed to find his character admirable but you are supposed to root for him. He’s like Charles Barkley: not a role model but you see good qualities and you still want to see him win.
Two hander!

Ahhhhhh! Riz Ahmed is such a good choice!
Btw the fast/furious slander is unnecessary!
Also, absolutely love Bardem in this.
