I'm glad it wasn't a good day to die for those we were rooting for - for others, a fateful encounter with karmic justice was unavoidable. Hoping for an Omega series teeing up based on the epilogue- maybe announcing on May the 4th???
I would love an Omega series! I hope that if there is one it is animated, but would also be open to a live action one. Make her the lead in the Rogue Squadron movie!
I think a ton of these predictions are going to happen. It is crazy though. I felt this way on the last two seasons of Bad Batch. This is the first one that I am genuinely excited to get home and watch. Then again, I am a sucker for prison break stuff, so this is right up my ally. The one prediction that I disagree with is the assassin. I see why people would think it is Tech. And yah it makes sense, a lot more sense than who I think it is. But they seem to be bringing a lot of stuff back from the past to wrap things up or let us see them one more time. Like when we ran into Wolfe. So, I think the assassin is going to be Cody. We have not seen him in a long time and that is what my money is on. I would love to see him, and Rex go at it and Rex try to deprogram him. If that is who this turns out to be.
This maybe spoiling my review a bit, but it definitely feels like they deliberately focused on The Batch only and said let’s keep it simple. Which I liked because it was emotionally impactful. Here’s hoping we get to see more of Rex, Cody, Wolfe, etc. in another series!
Yeah, that's what it feels like. I was expecting it to feel more like an ending to the entire clone wars era. But they definitely just decided to stay focused on the Batch. I would love a series following Rex. Maybe a series that bridges the gap between the clone wars and the rebellion? Who knows, by the time I get around to doing the Bad Batch and the Clones they might already have another series announced. Star Wars just doesn't stop!
I agree with a lot of this, I think I'd move Crosshair dying to the first category though. Just gotta get through the workday so I have time to sit down and watch.
